The Forest County Forestry and Recreation Committee will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Forest County Boardroom, Room 107, at 200 E Madison St., Crandon WI 54520.

 

This hearing is in regards to the Forest County Forestry and Recreation Dept. signing an agreeance with the DNR to build and maintain the railroad grade between Crandon and Argonne to be an ATV/UTV and snowmobile trail.

 

Both written and oral testimony will be entered into the record and considered when making the decision. All persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present or give written testimony at or prior to the hearing. Upon request, maps showing location of the trail may be viewed in the Forest County Forestry and Recreation office at 200 E Madison St. Crandon, WI 54520. Prior to this hearing, notice was given to the public on March 13, 2020, posting of notice on the east and west entrance doors of the Forest County Courthouse. The Forest Republican was noticed March 13, 2020. The notice is also posted on the county website.
