NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

A public hearing for comments on the Recommended Forest County Comprehensive Plan shall be held at Forest County Board Room on Wednesday, December 27, 2023          at 3:00pm.   The proposed comprehensive plan has been distributed as outlined in the statute.

Steve Kircher, an employee/representative of the County, may be contacted to provide additional information on the proposed comprehensive plan and ordinance at 715-478-1387 or lcc@co.forest.wi.us during the following times: M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. or in person at 200 E Madison St, Crandon, WI 54520.

A copy of the comprehensive plan may be reviewed prior to the hearing at the County Courthouse during the following times: (M-F 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.). The plan is also available on the County’s website http://www.co.forest.wi.gov/index.asp?locid=145  as well as www.ncwrpc.org.

A copy of the proposed comprehensive plan may be obtained by contacting Steve Kircher at 715-478-1387 or lcc@co.forest.wi.us during the following times:

Under s. 66.1001 (4) (d), Wis. stats., the hearing must be preceded by a class 1 notice under chapter 985, Wis. stats., that is published at least 30 days before the hearing is held.
