Public Hearing Notice

By Order of George Stamper, Chairman of the Forest County Land Sales and Delinquent Tax

At 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9^th, 2018, a Public Hearing will be held in room 107 (County Board Room) of the Forest County Courthouse located at 200 East Madison Street, Crandon, WI. This hearing will held for the Land Sales and Delinquent Tax Committee to take public comment on the proposed ½ percent penalty on overdue or Delinquent Real Estate Taxes, Special Assessments, Special Charges & Special Taxes.

Both written and oral testimony will be entered into the record and considered. All interested persons wishing to be heard are invited to be present or give written testimony at or prior to the hearing. Original materials may be viewed in room 202 on the second floor of the courthouse or emailed to any interested party upon request.

Prior to this hearing, notice was given to the public by posting of notice on the west and east entrance door of the Forest County Courthouse. Towns were notified by email. The notice was posted to the web and the media was notified on October 22^nd, 2018. Every effort will be made to reasonably accommodate persons with special needs.
