Seasonal AND H1N1 flu vaccines available by appointment at the health department.
Community H1N1 clinic will be held at the Mole Lake Bingo Hall January 20th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. H1N1 vaccine is available for free to everyone.
H1N1 Novel Influenza Information
- There is a new strain of influenza that has been detected in the United States that is a combination of swine, avian, and human viruses.
- Public Health Officials at the federal, state and local levels are monitoring the situation closely.
- Persons with fever and respiratory symptoms should stay home from work or school to avoid spreading infections to others.
- Frequent handwashing and covering coughs can lessen the spread of respiratory illness.
