The County Clerk's Office is in charge of:
- Marriage Licenses
- Dog Licenses
- Timber Cutting Permits
- Platbooks & Directories
- Oversee Employee Insurance & Benefit Programs
- Payroll & Financial Records
- Elections

Duties
|
The County Clerk is elected for a two year term by the voters of Forest County. The County Clerk's duties include:
- Act as clerk of the County Board of Supervisors recording minutes of the Board proceedings
- Publishing the proceedings of the County Board Meetings
- Maintain a public file of all Standing & Special Committees of the Board
- Issue and maintain oaths, bonds and certificates of election for all county officials
- Purchasing duties as prescribed by the County Board
- Maintenance of personnel records, payroll records and employee benefit programs
- Performing all other duties prescribed by law or required by the County Board.
